About A Shocking Reminder
In 2010 and 2011 Christchurch, New Zealand was rocked by two of the largest earthquakes ever recorded in the Southern Hemisphere. The first damaged the city's buildings and infrastructures but didn't produce fatalities. The second rocked the fragile city even harder and killed 185 people, leveled the city and produced a strange effect called liquefaction.
