Season 1|Episode 5

In Hyderabad, in India, poverty and richness walk together. Every day 15 000 of Hyderabad’s policemen fight against any types of crime: violation, thefts, homicide and inter-religious conflicts. The number of gender-based crimes and domestic abuses is becoming extremely frightening. As a result, there are now police stations which are opened only for women and run also by women. They take part in the regular police operations together with their male colleagues, but they alone have rights to frisk and to touch Indian women.

In Palestine, 8,500 policemen work all over the country and their task is very tough and dangerous because of complex social, geographical and political contexts. Women are not well represented in the police. They play, however, a key role in this conservative country: they deal with special cases involving Palestinian women.
