In 2011, a massive super tornado swept through Missouri and focused its damage on the town of Joplin. It killed 158 people and caused an additional 8 indirect deaths, and caused property damage of $2.8 billion. Super Tornado recreates the story of this disastrous storm with startling real footage and the participation of those who survived it.
