The End of Red October

It's a race against time — and the end of the world — as teams of engineers work to dismantle decommissioned Soviet submarines packed with nuclear materials. Over 200 nuclear submarines rust and and rot in the fjords of northern Russia, presenting a looming environmental disaster as well as a massive security risk. With little oversight, these submarines are prime targets for terrorist bombs, weapons of mass destruction that could lead to enormous casualties and even a nuclear holocaust.
